Who may apply?

|

This series is open to any executive-level professional (frommanagement to C-suite) who leads, and has a significantdecision-making role within a commercial real estate company, acommercial real estate-focused division of a larger company, or amajor division within a larger commercial real estate company. If acompany's leadership is split between two executives, you maynominate them as a team. The information provided inthe Testimonials section of theentry form will be a major factor in determining the overallwinner.

Can I nominate myself?

|

Yes. We accept self nominations as well as third-partysubmissions.

|

I was selected as a Best Boss last year. Can I applyagain this year?

|

To avoid redundancy, we try to vary the winners we profile yearto year. However, this is limited to the type of nomination you aresubmitting. For instance, if you were selected as a leadershipteam, you may be nominated again as an individual. Conversely, ifyou were selected as an individual last year, you may be nominatedas part of a team. In either case, the information submitted aspart of your nomination must include updated details and not mirrorthe prior year's nomination.

How and when will winners be notified?

Editorial staff will send email notifications to the winners andsubmitters by the end of March. Due to the high volume ofnominations we receive, only those selected will be notified.

GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum will profile theBest Bosses series in the June 2020issue, which will be distributed in earlyJune/July. Those chosen will also gain recognitionon GlobeSt.com.

How do I increase my chances of beingselected?

|

Be as descriptive, yet concise as possible. Sounds redundant,but it's simple. Provide details on why you think your entry shouldbe chosen, but leave out the fluff, like marketing content andself-congratulatory comments. We don't mind reading long entries,but don't hide the items of importance within pages oftrivialities. Further, support your entry and statements withbackup information – we love facts and figures.
