Beverly Hills-based real estate sponsor and managerChristina Development Corp. has hired RichardMoran as managing director and head of capital markets. Theappointment is part of the firm's strategic growth plans. Moran isan industry leader in wealth management, and in this role, he willwork to forge partnerships with registered investment advisors.

Christina is building on an already impressive track record.According to the firm, in its 43-year history, it has completedmore than 100 transactions and had zerolosses. "Christina's significant growth over the lastseven years can be largely attributed to the launch of four managedportfolios. These offerings combined Christina's establishedinvestment strategy with the tax advantages of investing inmulti-property portfolios," says Taylor. "As we continue to rolloutofferings, we will leverage Rich's expertise, knowledge andnetworks to introduce our portfolio investments to registeredinvestment advisors, families and high net-worth individuals whowill find our geographically focused approach and strong trackrecord appealing." The company targets assets on the Westside ofLos Angeles and focuses on "tax-advantaged wealth preservation andlong-term capital appreciation," says Taylor.

As part of the firm's expansion plans, it will continue torecruit and make additional appointments. "We are expanding ouracquisitions, marketing and capital teams in the near term and arealways looking for talented individuals to help us see our missionthrough," says Taylor.

Moran has already started to build a team to accomplish thesegoals.
