Land AdvisorsOrganization has launched a healthcare services team inPhoenix. Laurie Sandau, MichaelBrinkley and Michele Pino will lead theteam, which will advise healthcare clients through all stages ofthe real estate process by using data and economic metrics, according to the firm.

"Our data-driven analytics provided valuable information relatedto population growth, community demographics, economic metrics, healthcare infrastructure and patient gaps which helped addresstheir short and long-term growth plans," Brinkley, an advisor atthe firm, tells GlobeSt.com. "We've had the opportunityto assist other clientsseeking these services, but felt it was time toinclude medical office leasing and sales to provide a morecomprehensive array of services, which is what Laurie Sandauspecializes in."

The healthcare industry has been growing in Phoenix, but therecent pandemic has driven more demand. "Many communities wereacutely aware of their growing needs well before the pandemic, which now adds an additional consideration. We knew we couldprovide a unique, needed service that would help communities, developers as well as healthcare providers and decided to formallyform a group that is focused on offering these specialized servicesto the industry," adds Brinkley. "We're excited to be part ofhelping to expand healthcare services to communities acrossArizona."

|

In addition, the pandemic will complicate the healthcare marketand provider needs in looking for real estate. "Although we do notcompletely know the full impact that the virus will haveon the broader community's needs, we can expect that it willcomplicate things and the public will be interested inseeing these issues addressed," Pino, an advisor at Land Advisors, tells GlobeSt.com. "Therefore, timing couldn't be more appropriatefor us to offer our services and do our part to help communitiesthroughout the state."

The pandemic aside, the healthcare sector has several demanddrivers that could benefit from better data. "Thehealthcare sector has been positionedfor strategic growth as a result of an agingpopulation and a robust housing industry," adds Pino. "However, many in the healthcare sector may not know the type of data that wecan provide in order to make informed decisions."

While Land Advisors has worked on the healthcare market foryears, this dedicated team brings well-rounded industry knowledgeto the platform. "Mike Brinkley has extensive, in-depth knowledgeof the healthcare sector in Arizona, managing strategic hospitalcorporate real estate planning and development.
