PALATINE, IL—A company identified as one of the world's largeste-commerce retailers is working with Conor Commercial Real Estateto build a 162,000-square-foot last mile logistics facility here todeliver goods to the residents of Chicago's northwest suburbs.

Conor planned to build a 335,000-square-foot speculativeindustrial facility but revised its plans when the retailer becameinvolved with the project. The site's convenient location amidChicago's highway network—it's less than six miles from I-90 andI-290—was part of the appeal for the retailer, whose name has notbeen released.
