Morgan Stanley Expands Office Footprint in Columbus, OH

Completing a $1.5 million lease expansion, the company will occupy Gladstone Commercial Corporation’s entire 103,000-square-foot, class-A office building.

COLUMBUS, OH – Gladstone Commercial Corporation has executed a lease amendment to expand Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Financing’s footprint at Gladstone Commercial’s Columbus, OH office property, by 16,000 square feet.

Upon the amendment, Morgan Stanley will occupy the entire three-story, 103,000-square-foot, class-A office building, 4343 Easton Commons, as of August 1, 2020. The firm will occupy the space through December of 2025.

Morgan Stanley began its tenancy in the property in 2008, upon completion of building construction.

Gladstone Commercial Corporation originally acquired 4343 Easton Commons in an anchored multitenant portfolio acquisition. The acquisition also comprised class-A office property, 680 West Shields Lane in Salt Lake City, UT, where Morgan Stanley currently occupies 98,000 square feet of space.

Since Gladstone Commercial Corporation took ownership of the assets, Morgan Stanley has expanded its footprint at both the Columbus, OH and Salt Lake City, UT properties.
