Los Angeles-based CBRE Group made public several initiatives tohelp its employees and give back to the communities it operates in,according to the company's recently-published CorporateResponsibility Report.

"Our people have stepped up to help clients navigate COVID-19′schallenges and also answered the call within their communities. Inaddition, we organized the largest fundraising campaign in CBRE'shistory, recognizing that our corporate response, like thechallenge facing the world, needed to be unprecedented," BobSulentic, CBRE's president and chief executive officer, said inprepared remarks.

The efforts detailed in the report started with making itmandatory for employees to work from home. According to the report,employees at the company's Wuhan, China office were required towork from home beginning Feb. 3. On Feb. 24, CBRE employees inMilan, Italy had to work from home and the company closed the restof its EMEA offices by March 16. US and Canadian employees beganworking from home on March 13.
