Life Sciences Company Expands to Philadelphia

Growing its scientific real estate practice, Scheer Partners Inc. has tapped local broker and former medical researcher, Paul ‘Tim’ Conrey to direct its new office.

PHILADELPHIA – Life sciences researcher, developer and property manager, Scheer Partners Inc. has opened a new Philadelphia office. The company has recruited industry veteran and local broker, Paul ‘Tim’ Conrey to lead the office as Philadelphia director and SVP.

The new office, located in Philadelphia’s University City neighborhood in the CIRA Centre office tower, serves as Scheer Partners’ first satellite office, outside of the DC metropolitan area.

The company intends to utilize Conrey’s professional expertise to identify life sciences market opportunities, in effort to meet the scientific real estate needs in the Philadelphia market.

Conrey joins the firm as a former medical researcher, with specialized experience in working with the area’s biotechnology businesses. He has represented a range of businesses, from Fortune 100 companies to startups, on site selection, contracts, development and project financing.

Conrey holds an M.S. degree in organic chemistry from George Washington University, and has brokered numerous transactions within the Philadelphia area throughout his more than 30 year career.

With the new office location, Maryland-based, Scheer Partners aims to project future growth on the local economy through life sciences.
