National Endowment for Democracy Secures 82K SF Penn Quarter Lease

The non-profit foundation will occupy two floors at 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. in 2021.

WASHINGTON DC –  The National Endowment for Democracy, has signed an 82,000-square-foot lease at 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington DC’s Penn Quarter neighborhood. The private, non-profit foundation is set to move into the building in April 2021.

The foundation will occupy the 10th and 11th floors of the 13-story, 450,000-square-foot building, owned by Sentinel Real Estate Corp. The lease encompasses full-floor plates, featuring 10,000 square feet of column-free spacing on each floor, as well as private access to the property’s rooftop terrace.
