NEW YORK CITY – Family-owned real estate company, the NamdarGroup has secured a $42.7 million bridge loan from Lightstone'sreal estate debt platform, Lightstone Capital, to refinance itsmixed-use building, MRK, in New York City's Jersey Cityneighborhood.

The Namdar Group will utilize the loan to refinance existingsenior and mezzanine construction loans for the recently completedproject located at 97 Newkirk St. in Jersey City's Journal Squareneighborhood.

The 15-story building recently commenced residential leasing forits 132 multifamily units. The property additionally features23,000 square feet of office space, which has been fully-leased toa co-working operator with a 15-year tenancy. The propertyadditionally features a gym, a yoga room and a rooftop terrace andlounge.
