Acknowledging the innovative opportunities that younger professionals can provide within the field, companies are offering graduate programs, young leadership committees, next generation boards, etc., in effort to recruit skilled professionals. In doing so, companies benefit from new perspectives and differing experience through a more diverse workforce; positioning themselves for continued growth and ensuring a better future for the industry.

While profiting from enhanced industry resources, many young professionals are currently navigating through their first market cycle. Learning to understand and work through today’s climate, these professionals seek advice on various crises from industry veterans and receive routine guidance from senior colleagues, while acquiring new practices and adapting to new protocols every day.

Though currently facing difficult times, the industry’s young professionals are constantly gaining new experiences within the workplace. What information/data will I need to apply/?

The complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, is available for download here. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. Final entries must be submitted online, via the Nominate Now webpage.

Who may apply?

The form is open to any individual, under the age of 40, who operates in commercial real estate and related fields, such as law, research, design and consulting.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes. We accept self-nominations, as well as third-party submissions.

I was selected for Fifty Under 40 last year. Can I apply again this year?

To a avoid redundancy, we try to vary the professionals that we profile from year to year. That being said, individuals selected within recent years for Fifty Under 40 may submit a nomination and include updated details, accomplishments and testimonies that do not mirror previous submissions. When will the issue come out?

Chosen Fifty Under 40 professionals will be profiled in the October 2020 Career issue of Real Estate Forum. Selected individuals will additionally gain recognition on GlobeSt.com.
