Looking to ease the affordable housing crisis that plagues theBay Area, MBH Architects in collaboration with Jon WordenArchitects assisted MidPen Housing Corporation in designing Fettersand Celestina Garden Apartments. This master-plannedmulti-generational affordable rental housing development forlow-income families was made possible with tax credits and multiplelayers of financing.

"Fetters and Celestina, both 100% affordable, would not havebeen able to be built with this level of affordability bytraditional financing," Rick Christiani, principal and architect ofMBH Architects, tells GlobeSt.com. "These developments were madepossible through MidPen Housing's commitment to and history ofproviding high-quality affordable housing that is integrated intothe surrounding community.
