Walgreens customers in several major cities are now able toorder products for home delivery through a partnership with thedelivery service DoorDash, adding to the drugstore chain's recentexpansions in its offerings.

The delivery option became available in Chicago, Atlanta andDenver July 16 and will expand to markets including Cincinnati,Cleveland, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Sacramento andSeattle by the end of the summer, according to a Walgreens newsrelease.

The DoorDash partnership follows the announcement ofa $1 billion deal between Walgreens Boots Alliance andVillageMD to open 500 to 700 primary care offices inWalgreens' stores during the next five years, including inmedically underserved areas. The primary care partnership wasrolled out nationwide after a trial with five in-store clinics inthe Houston, Texas area, began in November.
