Texas A&M University Secures DC Campus Site

The University has signed a 47,418-square-foot lease in the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District for its Bush School of Government and Public Service.

WASHINGTON DC – Texas A&M University has secured a 47,418-square-foot lease at 1620 L St. NW in Washington DC.

The space will serve as the University’s new teaching site in Washington DC, featuring the Bush School of Government and Public Service.

Located blocks from the White House, the site spans five floors and features an outdoor, third-floor terrace with an indoor/outdoor kitchen, a state-of-the-art gym, a tenant-only conference facility and ground floor access to the space. The space additionally offers recent upgrades to the lobby, elevator cabs, common corridors. The property is situated within the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District.

Newmark Knight Frank’s senior managing director, Doug Damron and managing director, Chris Lucey represented the tenant in the transaction. JLL’s Nathan Beach represented the landlord in the deal.
