Days Left to Nominate for Healthcare Influencers

Nominate a talented professional for GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Influencers in Healthcare Real Estate series before the submission deadline on September 4!

In order to minimize risk for consumers and professionals alike, properties across all sectors have implemented certain regulations and temporary restrictions throughout the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Among the various spaces implementing precautionary measures, medical properties have endured the most drastic and imperative modifications.

As restrictions from entering healthcare facilities quickly progressed and patients increasingly avoided such spaces to avoid risk, the medical industry experienced a significant surge in telehealth appointments and virtual healthcare; with one report suggesting a 4,000% increase in telehealth patient volume during the early months of the pandemic outbreak.

However, throughout endless modified practices, the industry has reported steady rent collection within the sector, when compared to other markets, as these property types continue to allow the execution of essential work.

As the future of healthcare real estate remains widely unknown, while both medical professionals and patients seek stability, industry professionals are constantly navigating various factors within the sector.

Attempting to track fluctuating demands and ensure safety through new innovations, these professionals are altering existing spaces, adapting current plans, brokering deals and working to better the new normal for front-line healthcare professionals.

In that spirit, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum is looking to shine a spotlight on the people and firms who have helped to shape the healthcare real estate market and continue to drive its spectacular performance. The next installment of our Influencers series will profile not only the pioneers who have made an impact with their individual efforts, but also teams and entire organizations who have become critical to the industry.

The power of influence is vast, and influencers yield such clout that they are able to effect change through direct and, more often than not, indirect action. These are the individuals, teams and companies that have had a recognizable and significant impact on the business. Be it through their contributions to the industry, the vast successes they’ve racked up in completing deals and projects, or the innovations and best practices they’ve introduced to the business, these are Commercial Real Estate’s Influencers in Healthcare Real Estate.

The deadline for nominations is September 4, 2020. To apply, click here.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes. We accept self-nominations, as well as third-party submissions.

I was selected as a Healthcare Influencer last year. Can I apply again this year?

To avoid redundancy, we try to vary the Influencers that we profile from year to year. However, this is limited to the type of nomination that you are submitting. For instance, if your organization or team was previously selected as an Influencer, you may submit again this year as an individual. Conversely, if you were previously chosen as an individual Influencer, you may be nominated as part of a team or company, this year. In either case, your nomination must include updated information that does not mirror the previous year’s submission. View 2019’s Healthcare Influencers, here.

Is there a fee to apply?

No. Submission to this, as well as all of our editorial content, is free.
