HOUSTON—In the germ-obsessed COVID era, many firms have begun using UV lighting technology to effectively clean common and high-traffic areas. This latest phenomenon exemplifies the impact COVID is having on all industries.

One multifamily tenant, 255 Assay in Houston, is even using UV lighting provided by Apache to clean elevators, amenities and units prior to move-ins. These products mitigate fear, build trust and generate confidence in safe spaces, says Mike Knigin, Apache CEO.

"We create safer spaces with advanced technical solutions. This technology eradicates viral, bacterial and other microbial threats," Knigin tells GlobeSt.com. "Apache SafeSpace Solutions' innovative products seek and destroy 99.9%-plus of COVID-19 viral DNA and other dangerous microorganisms both in the air and on hard surfaces. The ability to kill these microorganisms like COVID-19, both on surfaces and in the air, is a game changer for organizations."
