Foundry Commercial Hires J.P. Morgan Veteran

David Kern has been appointed to grow Foundry Commercial’s business within the Tampa area as market leader.

TAMPA, FL – Full-service commercial real estate services and investment firm, Foundry Commercial has hired real estate banking veteran, David Kern to increase its footprint within the Tampa market.

As market leader, Kern will work within the firm’s Tampa office and will be responsible for growing the company’s services business and expanding its leasing and management opportunities.

Within his new role, Kern will additionally work alongside Foundry’s development and investment platform in order to secure further investment and partnership opportunities. He will also support the company’s healthcare platform offerings.

Throughout his career, Kern has financing more than $15 billion of commercial real estate across the US, including several Foundry-led developments.

Prior to joining Foundry Commercial, Kern served J.P. Morgan as executive director, where he was responsible for providing banking solutions to Florida-based real estate firms. He previously serves Regions Bank as market manager.
