Newmark Group is adding to its industrial team.

The firm has hired 11 industrial real estate advisors from Savills. These individuals specialize in supply chain and logistics real estate and advisory for blue-chip clients, including Fortune 500 corporations and global leaders in third-party logistics, according to Newmark.

Al Petrillo (Rutherford, NJ), Adam Petrillo (Rutherford, NJ), Jeff Cannon (Irvine, Calif.), Blake Anderson (Dallas), Craig Engelhardt (Rutherford, NJ), Steve Levine (Miami), Andrew Morrow (Irvine, Calif.) and Tom Carragher (Rutherford, NJ) have joined the company as executive managing directors. Brian Prevoe (Toronto) has joined Newmark as a senior managing director, and Chris Koeck (Rutherford, NJ) and Steve Korfiatis (Rutherford, NJ) came aboard as managing directors.

Newmark says these professionals will assist clients in navigating evolving dynamics across their supply chain, logistics, warehouse, distribution and manufacturing real estate portfolios throughout North America and beyond.

“The ability to add high level professionals and advisors who focus on supply chain and logistics to our current platform is exciting,” says Phil Brodkin, executive vice president, managing director for Newmark. “We have great people who focus on regional and national occupiers and portfolio business.  The new talent will add to that depth and expand our breadth nationally.”

The eleven professionals, who possess over 225 years of combined experience, have a history of developing and executing strategy on large portfolios.

Adam Petrillo, who was managing director and head of the industrial services group (ISG) for Savills, brought that expertise. “Adam, in particular, had leadership [responsibilities] and was responsible for helping grow a platform previously,” Brodkin says. “We have a platform that is established. But being able to add somebody with that type of expertise and national reach was exciting to us.”

Throughout Petrillo’s 20-plus year career, he has been charged with offering brokerage and support for companies that provide industrial and logistic services across the Americas and the globe. His clients have been in research and development, manufacturing and distribution.

“What I have seen from a distance is that over the course of the last three to five years, Newmark has been amassing a great deal of talent that can do a lot of things within the verticals in which I was operating,” Petrillo says. “From project and construction management to consulting services to technology and integration to capital markets and traditional brokerage, Newmark has the platform.”
