DALLAS—CBRE has designated Dallas as its global headquarters city, in an announcement confirmed to GlobeSt.com. The location at 2100 McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas is the central operating center for CBRE, housing its largest US-based workforce including many of its senior executives.

"We are excited to call Dallas our headquarters city. This formalizes the way we have operated for many years. We have grown our employment base in the Dallas area significantly and expect to continue to increase it over time," a CBRE spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com. "However, we will not be relocating jobs from California as a result of designating Dallas as our headquarters city. Only an extremely small number of operations-related roles will migrate from California over time. We also remain committed to building on our leadership position in California."

CBRE has had a Los Angeles headquarters presence for many years, with its previous global HQ office located on the top two floors of 400 S. Hope St.
