MADISON, WI – CBRE has hired finance industry veterans, Charlie Knudsen and Julie Cook to join the firm's investment banking division, CBRE capital advisors.

The two professionals have been appointed to scale up CBRE capital advisors' private placement bond finance business for Credit Tenant Lease financings and other types of asset-backed and leased-backed private placement securities.

A founding principal of Madison, WI-based, QuadCapital, Knudsen joins CBRE capital advisors as managing director. Within his new role, Knudsen will partner with Brad Wilmot, EVP of debt & structured finance in CBRE's Los Angeles office, in effort to grow the practice throughout the CBRE platform.

With more than 25 years of institutional fixed-income securities, structured finance and commercial whole loan investing experience, Cook joins CBRE capital advisors as a senior associate. Cook most recently served QuadCapital, which she joined in 2010.

Within their new positions, Knudsen and Cook will source transactions by utilizing their networks of mortgage bankers, brokers and borrowers throughout the country, as well as those originated through CBRE's global platform.

Knudsen and Cook will continue to be based in Madison, WI. Each of the securities licenses will be held with CBRE capital advisors.
