JLL Appoints Head of Diversity and Inclusion

Industry veteran, Ingrid Jacobs serves in the newly-created position, where she will work to further develop the firm’s global diversity and inclusion strategy.

CHICAGO – JLL has appointed industry veteran, Ingrid Jacobs to the newly-created global position of head of diversity and inclusion.

Within the new role, Jacobs will work to further develop the firm’s global diversity and inclusion strategy. She is now responsible for ensuring that the company attracts, hires and develops a diverse and engaged workforce.

Additionally, Jacobs will serve as the diversity and inclusion lead for the Americas region.

Jacobs will work to reinforce JLL’s commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace. In her role, she will guide the company’s network of business resource groups and diversity councils, while leading a team of diversity and inclusion professionals across the globe.

Jacobs joins JLL with more than 20 years of experience providing strategic leadership in human resources, culture, strategy and diversity and inclusion for business improvement and cultural change.

Jacobs most recently served the investment management firm, Eaton Vance, as its chief diversity officer. Previously , she held diversity and inclusion leadership roles at Raytheon and Whirlpool.

In the role, effective January 20, Jacobs reports to JLL’s chief human resources officer, Mary Bilbrey.

Jacobs currently serves on the UNCF New England leadership council, the Diversity Project North America CEO advisory council and the Partnership Inc. executive council.

Jacobs received a Master of education, human resource development from Xavier University, and a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business from Ohio State University.
