Sustainability and climate change are at the forefront of every business environment today. Now, the new administration’s plan specifically requires the reduction of carbon emissions contributed by buildings – including subsequent consequences for continued polluters. States and cities are also following suit with their own carbon reduction requirements and associated penalties for non-compliant assets. Further, capital market demands from the world’s leading pension funds and investors are demanding ESG and actively divesting from non-sustainable investments.
CRE professionals must have clear plans with data-backed proven results to stay competitive and thrive in today’s evolving market.
This webcast will discuss how leading CRE owners and operators can leverage ESG strategies to drive portfolio value. Learn how clearly demonstrating real carbon reduction can drive your portfolio management strategies for economic recovery in 2021 and long-term portfolio resilience. And you will also learn:
- Insights into the ESG macrotrends (federal/state/local) that directly impact CRE
- How ESG is already gaining momentum and becoming a priority for capital markets and investors
- How leading CRE owners/investors are successfully achieving real impact through energy savings and carbon reduction solutions
