Walker & Dunlop Expands Agency Financing Team

The firm has hired commercial real estate finance veteran, Suzanne Jones to serve as a senior director within the Dallas-based group.

DALLAS, TX – Walker & Dunlop Inc. has hired Suzanne Jones as a senior director within its agency financing group.

Jones will be based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Dallas, TX office and will focus on the nationwide origination of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans.

Jones brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience to Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily lending platform.

Throughout her career, as an expert within the agency lending space, Jones has underwritten more than $6 billion in commercial real estate transactions. She has been involved in large portfolios and transactions nationally and internationally.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Jones served as SVP of NorthMarq’s debt & equity financing group, where she specialized in the origination of debt, joint-venture and structured financing for multifamily properties throughout the nation. She previously served on NorthMarq’s producers council, as a top producer within the company.

She is a founding member and a board member of the commercial real estate finance organization, Real Estate Network Empowering Women Inc., which targets women within the industry.
