Nashville Multifamily Trades for Nearly $120M

G. W. Williams Co. has acquired the newly-constructed, 322-unit community from Embrey Partners.

NASHVILLE, TN – California-based, G. W. Williams Co. has purchased a newly-constructed, 322-unit luxury multifamily community in Nashville, TN for $119.9 million. The privately-held firm purchased the property from the diversified real estate investment company, Embrey Partners.

Located at 101 Athens Way in Nashville’s Metrocenter neighborhood, the acquired property, Knox at Metrocenter, is currently 94% occupied. The community achieved the near full-lease up within eight months.

Knox at Metrocenter features a courtyard, a resort-style pool, a dog park, an expansive fitness center and a spin room. The property’s units feature premium flooring, granite countertops, LED lighting and a built-in desk and bookshelves. Certain units offer lake views, fenced-in yards and attached garages.

Situated within a mixed-use development, the property is located near 150,000 downtown jobs.

Newmark managing directors Tarek El Gammal and Vincent Lefler represented the seller in the transaction.

“Metrocenter has quickly established itself as a highly desirable district adjacent to one of Nashville’s most iconic submarkets – Germantown,” says El Gammal.

The fast-growing Metrocenter neighborhood currently boasts 3.4 million square feet of office space and 1.3 million square feet of retail space.
