CBRE Expands Atlanta Debt & Structured Finance Team

Four industry veterans have joined the firm from Cushman & Wakefield’s debt & structured finance practice.

ATLANTA, GA – CBRE has expanded its debt and structured finance team in Atlanta with the addition of Mike Ryan, Brian Linnihan, Richard Henry and Blake Cohen.

The team joins CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield’s debt & structured finance practice in Atlanta.

At CBRE, Ryan and Linnihan will serve as vice chairmen and Henry and Cohen will serve as SVPs. The team will strategically integrate with CBRE Atlanta’s debt and structured finance teams.

With extensive industry experience, the team specializes in providing financing solutions for all types of commercial assets, primarily throughout the Southeast. During the past five years, the team has worked on some of the largest and most high-profile deals in the Southeast. The four professionals have handled more than 225 deals, representing nearly $16 billion in transaction volume.

At Cushman & Wakefield, Ryan and Linnihan most recently served as vice chairman. Linnihan previously held positions at Corporex Capital LLC and the Opus Group. Henry served as senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, after working for 12 years at J.P. Morgan. With more than 16 years of capital markets experience, Cohen previously served as managing director at Cushman & Wakefield, following positions at Voya Investment Management and RR Donnelley Global Real Estate Services.

The team will contribute to CBRE’s national debt and structured finance teams, which closed $43 billion in loan production and $17 billion in agency debt in the US during 2021.
