Macerich Adds 17 Cotton On Group Stores to Portfolio

The Australia-based, global fashion and lifestyle company is set to open 17 stores across the REIT’s US regional town centers.

SANTA MONICA, CA – Retail and mixed-use owner, operator and developer Macerich is adding 17 Cotton On Group stores to its regional town centers across the US.

These stores will be in addition to the global fashion and lifestyle company’s 12 outlets that are already open within the REIT’s portfolio.

Cotton On Group has eight Aussie lifestyle brands that are available in 22 countries. The Australia-based company will open Cotton On stores, Cotton On Kids stores, combination megastore concept and select locations with Cotton On Body, in the Macerich properties.

The Cotton On Group stores at Macerich properties are set to open in 2022 and 2023.

The Cotton On locations, which will offer womenswear, menswear and accessories, include Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls in New York, FlatIron Crossing in Colorado, Kings Plaza in New York, Queens Center in New York, Stonewood Center in California and The Mall at Victor Valley in California.

The Cotton On Kids locations, which will offer age-appropriate children’s clothing, include Danbury Fair Mall in Connecticut, Deptford Mall in New Jersey, FlatIron Crossing in Colorado, Los Cerritos Center in California and Queens Center in New York.

The Cotton On megastores locations include a Freehold Raceway Mall store expansion in New Jersey, Fresno Fashion Fair in California, Green Acres Mall in New York, Scottsdale Fashion Square in Arizona, Valley River Center in Oregon and Washington Square in Oregon.
