JLL Adds Multifamily to Property Management Business

The firm has expanded its platform by launching a multifamily property management group.

CHICAGO, IL – JLL has expanded its property management business to include multifamily.

The firm’s new multifamily property management group will be led by managing director Lela Cirjakovic. Within her position, Cirjakovic will build and grow client relations across the multifamily platform by working with national and regional professionals.

JLL has historically offered property management services across the office, industrial, retail and life science sectors, however, with the expansion, the firm will now provide offerings, such as proactive management, experiential resident programming, PropTech solutions and on-site property teams, across the multifamily sector as well. With the addition of multifamily, the firm aims to serve as a single-source provider in mixed-use assets for clients.

Based in Chicago, Cirjakovic holds 30 years of experience in real estate asset management. Prior to joining JLL, Cirjakovic worked at the vertically-integrated real estate investment firm Waterton, where she served as EVP of operations and oversaw the firm’s multifamily portfolio.

“Our multifamily management experts, supported by JLL’s property management platform, will provide clients unfettered access to industry expert services, resources and attention needed to ensure best-in-class service and property performance,” states Cirjakovic. “I spent the majority of my career on the ownership side, and I will continue to bring that owner mindset to every community we serve.”

“We are thrilled to have Lela lead the new multifamily property management group with JLL,” says Mark Zettl, JLL’s property management president. “With the addition of this group, JLL will serve as an impactful resource to our clients within a thriving sector in commercial real estate.”
