Matthews Real Estate Investment Services Appoints New President
The firm has promoted EVP David J. Harrington to the position, where he will oversee company operations.
EL SEGUNDO, CA – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has promoted David J. Harrington to president of the firm.
Within his new role, Harrington will support company growth and work to accelerate the implementation of critical operations. Based in the firm’s El Segundo, CA office, Harrington will also be responsible for guiding, directing and evaluating strategic initiatives.
Most recently, Harrington served as Matthews’ EVP and managing director. He is a long-standing member of the firm’s executive board and he led the growth of the firm’s multifamily division from Southern California to markets across the country. Harrington first joined Matthews in 2016 and he has since overseen company achievements, such as office openings, senior and executive level hires and industry acquisitions.

Harrington holds more than 20 year of commercial real estate brokerage and leadership experience. He began his career at Marcus & Millichap, where he specialized in debt origination and multifamily investment sales, and in 2010, he joined the national multifamily brokerage Hendricks & Partners, which later merged with Berkadia.
