Transwestern Real Estate Services has acquired MGA, Inc., adding eight brokers to its Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions platform in the Mid-Atlantic region. Transwestern is also in the process of acquiring West, Lane & Schlager, a deal that will be finalized later this month. This second acquisition will add another eight brokers to Transwestern's Mid-Atlantic Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions practice. WLS is a 26-year-old commercial real estate firm exclusively representing clients in Greater Washington, D.C.

MGA, which began operating as Transwestern on January 1, is a full-service tenant representation firm providing real estate advisory services such as workplace strategy, market intelligence, site selection and lease negotiation, as well as project management and post-occupancy services for real estate occupiers. The firm's clients include Environmental Defense Fund, Share Our Strength, KIPP DC, Technomics, FP1 Strategies, Carnegie Institution for Science and Society for Human Resource Management.

Earlier this month, Transwestern acquired MB Real Estate, adding to its Midwest region 120 team members and a property management portfolio exceeding 12 million square-feet.
