A unique, new property management team within JLL, The Mixx, will oversee operations for OCVIBE in Orange County.
The landmark 100-acre development is situated in Anaheim, California’s immersive entertainment district, designed for both local and visiting guests.
It offers a diverse range of dining options, nightlife, cutting-edge office space, inclusive public areas and world-class sports and entertainment venues.

There are 20 acres of parks and public plazas, four parking garages and retail plazas surrounding the Honda Center, home to the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks and hosts other events.
OC Sports and Entertainment will continue to manage the hockey arena and will manage the future entertainment venues at OCVIBE.
A 'Compelling Mix of Attributes'
When embarking on the project, the space itself was not vacant; however, every construction decision is made strategically to stay true to the development's community-first approach, Scott Frick, senior vice president of real estate operations at OCVIBE, told GlobeSt.com.
The 100-acre transformation of the area surrounding Honda Center into OCVIBE, thoughtfully planned through 2033, resulted from several strategic acquisitions and partnerships over the past 10 years.
“OCVIBE’s location in the heart of Anaheim offers an incredibly compelling mix of attributes that make it a standout opportunity, from a vibrant market, a growing population, and a thriving tourism economy,” Frick said. “The scale of the development also makes it uniquely positioned to become a cultural and economic anchor for the region.”
Importantly, Honda Center’s 1.5 million annual visitors provide a strong foundation of consistent foot traffic.
The Samueli family led the $4 billion investment that is expected to generate over $10 million in direct annual revenue for the City of Anaheim and create significant new employment opportunities.
Beyond that, OCVIBE benefits from exceptional accessibility to Orange County’s three million residents and the tens of millions of visitors the region attracts annually. With direct visibility from major freeways and proximity to key transportation hubs, the destination offers unmatched convenience and connectivity that traditional retail centers can’t replicate, according to Frick.
In terms of dining, he said he’s actively finalizing agreements with a lineup of exceptional culinary talent, including celebrated chefs from across the country and notable names locally in Southern California.
“These dining experiences will bring concepts to Orange County that residents won’t find anywhere else,” Frick explained. “We look forward to sharing more details in the coming months as we continue to curate a collection of restaurants.”
JLL’s Mixed-Use Management
Sean McNamara, managing director for both The Mixx and JLL, told GlobeSt.com, regarding the project's creation, “Our leadership recognizes a service gap in the market related to delivering the highest and best service to our clients investing in mixed-use projects."
“We also identified a trend of more investors directing capital to these diverse, risk-adjusted investments.”
The convergence of these factors led JLL to invest in a strategic service line, The Mixx, specifically for mixed-use projects, utilizing our best thought leadership, subject-matter expertise, and vast resources, McNamara said.
“While I think other CRE service firms have recognized the mix-use trends, I am not aware of any other service lines using our integrated service model to target mixed-use specifically,” he added.
