McKee brings 15 years of experience in the Florida market. The new office will house Cameratta's marketing department and general counsel as well as engineering and design teams and serve as a base for all of the company's Florida projects, according to Joseph Cameratta, CEO. Ray Blacksmith, president, says this is "the next logical step" for the company, and says it signifies "a strong, long-lasting relationship with the Fort Myers community."

Cameratta is currently building High Point Place, a 32-story condominium project Downtown between McGregor Boulevard and the Caloosahatchee River. It is also in the process of redeveloping the former 12-acre Edison-Ford Square site between McGregor Boulevard and W. First Street into First Street Village, a mixed-use project proposed to contain approximately 337 residences, 93,272 sf of retail and 42,830 sf of office space.
