READING, PA–Brandolini Companies has refinanced its Spring Towne Shopping Center, a 277,860-square-foot, Lowe's- and Giant-anchored retail center in Reading, Pennsylvania. HFF secured $17.7 million in a long-term, fixed-rate loan with an institutional quality insurance company that will be used to refinance an existing mortgage on the property.

Mission Capital Advisors arranged $41 million in acquisition and repositioning financing for the transaction.

NAZARETH, PA–Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust is spending $44 million to build First 33 Commerce Center, a two-building 584,760 square-foot development on Easton Nazareth Highway in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania.

PARK RIDGE, NJ– Hornrock Properties is acquiring One Sony Drive in Park Ridge, NJ, a 220,877-square-foot headquarters quality building that will be partially leased back by Sony Electronics for two years. An industry observer familiar with the transaction says the purchase price was $16.8 million.

SECAUCUS, NJ–Global real estate investment banking firm The Carlton Group is shelling out $64 million to acquire the Plaza at Harmon Meadow, a multi-building, 217,613-square-foot retail/office property located at 650 & 700 Plaza Drive in Secaucus, NJ. It's part of Hartz Mountain's continuing divestiture of office and retail assets.
