Russo will redevelop the "Bat Factory" property—which has sat idle for more than three decades–as the second phase of its Vermella West project.

Weintraub replaces interim vice president and interim chief financial officer Greg Wolf.

The REIT also announced it sold a 49% partnership interest in the property to an Israeli institutional investor.

In addition to 18 new gates, the first phase of the $8 billion in renovations brings new dining and retail to the airport which services 30 million passengers each year.
