LAS VEGAS-After three years of working land deals, the Curve Development Co. will break ground in early 2006 on 18 of 47.5 acres in the southwest submarket. The first wave of retail and residential space is half sold out or under negotiation. "It's so significant to me that I've not even gone to market and I get 20 requests for retail space a day," Edward Kile, president of the Curve Development Co., tells GSR. The project will have 109,653 sf of retail, as well as condos and offices.
ORLANDO-The Boston-based developer pays LM Orlando Hospitality Inc. $9.3 million for the prime 13-acre tract on Sand Lake Road in the fast-developing Dr. Phillips area of south Orlando. The northeast corridor is expected to bring almost $85 billion to the local economy over the next two decades.
