LOS ANGELES, CA-The groundbreaking for a $22 million technology center, slated for today (Monday, Dec. 2) at East Los Angeles College, is the first step in a $200 million building program.

HOUSTON-The 356-unit Calais at Courtlandt gets a construction loan and a lead equity partner. The financing arrangement, nine months in the making, has been signed between Greystar of Charleston, SC and Phoenix Capital Partners of Seattle.

PHOENIX-In a move some say reflects a renewed tenant interest in the city's Central Business District, Phoenix-based architectural and interior firm Archicon L.C. will relocate its offices into 9,320 sf in mid-town's 4041 Central Plaza.

SOUTH LYON, MI-The local architectural firm is handling four private hotel conversions to national chain locations for more than $20 million. The company is looking for more work beyond the projects in Atlanta; Chattanooga, TN; Springfield, OH and St. Louis.
