CLEARWATER, FL-The Tampa, FL-based company paid Thomas Park Enterprises and MKC Inc. $1.2 million or $129,570 per acre ($2.97 per sf) for a 9.3-acre parcel at 126th Avenue and U.S. 19, next to the 304,000-sf Honeywell Plaza campus, 80 miles west of Downtown Orlando.
HAINES CITY, FL-The 30-year-old, 1,000-acre, picture postcard property, 50 miles south of Downtown Orlando, will shut down tomorrow (Feb. 22) after its foreign owners voluntary filed a Chapter 7 liquidation petition with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Tampa. Liabilities are expected to exceed $50 million.
