Cavanaughs Hotels to Change Flags

SPOKANE, WA—WestCoast Hospitality Corp., formerly Cavanaughs Hospitality Corp., is completing the transition this month by rebranding its Cavanaughs Hotels just as it did the company. In January 2000, Cavanaughs Hospitality Corp. completed the acquisition of WestCoast Hotels Inc. and subsequently renamed the corporation to assume the WestCoast name. To complete the transition, the company has hired sign companies to change the name and logo to WestCoast on thousands of hotel properties.

WestCoast owns 46 hotels (8,766 hotel rooms) in nine states. WestCoast also provides travel entertainment services through TicketsWest.com, which also includes WestCoast Entertainment, formerly Cavanaughs Entertainment, a Broadway and special event company.

G&B Real Estate Services, the real estate division of WestCoast Hospitality Corp, owns 590,000 sf of commercial real estate and manages 3.4 million feet of company and third-party commercial real estate, and 2,000 units of third-party apartment and condominium properties.
