Lowe's purchased the 12 acres of land where the store is beingbuilt in January. It will be located on the southwest corner of15th Street Northeast and D Street Northeast.
The Auburn store will be the 14th Lowe's store in WesternWashington and the 19th statewide. The Wilkesboro, N.C.-basedcompany purchased the Renton, Wash.-based Eagle Hardware &Garden chain last year and is now converting Eagle stores to Lowe'sHome Improvement Warehouses.
