The Vanguard Co./CRESA is merging with CRESA Partners LLC, one of the nation’s leading corporate real estate advisory firms focusing on corporate services and tenant representation. As a result, The Vanguard Co./CRESA has changed its name to CRESA Partners/Austin.

Christopher Marchbanks, a principal in CRESA Partners/Austin told that the merger is a significant step in the company’s overall growth plan. “It strengthens our ability to serve local Austin clients while enabling us to service a greater number of clients on a national and international basis,” he said.

“With our enhanced services and increased national presence, we plan to double our size in the next year as we significantly grow our client base and attract new professionals to our team.”The Vanguard Co. joined the CRESA Alliance, one of North America’s largest associations of corporate real estate advisory firms that specialize in corporate services and tenant representation, in 1997. All individual Alliance offices retain their own identity and identify themselves as a CRESA member. CRESA Partners is a national firm focusing on tenant representation and corporate services. It has 12 offices across the nation but is considered to be one company.

Michael Dow, president and CEO of CRESA Partners LLC said the Vanguard Co./CRESA fits the profile of a CRESA Partners firm because of its aggressive growth plan and specialization in tenant representation and corporate services.

“As a leading national firm, CRESA Partners is building its presence in major markets across the country,” said Dow. “The addition of CRESA Partners/Austin solidifies our position in the central southern region.”

With this latest merger, CRESA Partners now has offices Austin, New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Jose, Palo Alto, Minneapolis, Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Portland. CRESA Partners plans to continue its North American expansion over the next 18 months. All CRESA Partners offices are members of the CRESA Alliance, which Dow says is North America’s largest alliance of corporate real estate advisory firms specializing in tenant representation and corporate services. Through its alliance with Weatherall International — the international division of Weatherall, Green, and Smith — CRESA members have access to more than 100 markets worldwide.

“While The Vanguard Co./CRESA has recently served its clients nationwide in cities such as Portland, Denver, Raleigh, and New York, this merger will demonstrate our dedication to providing a single point of contact to clients across the globe,” said Marchbanks.”This also strengthens our role as a long-term business partner.
