MIAMI-In the largest transaction of its kind to date, Exodus Communications Inc. is leasing 370,000 sf of telecom space for at least 10-years in LightSpeed Center at Beacon Tradeport. The park is in Miami's Airport West section near International Airport.

Web host Exodus Communications Inc. is leasing 370,000 sf in two phases for at least 10 years in LightSpeed Center at Beacon Tradeport. The park is in Miami’s Airport West section near International Airport.

Construction of the initial 195,000-sf phase is expected to be completed in January. The transaction is the area’s largest of its kind to date for telecom warehouse space.

Insignia/ESG negotiated for the tenant. Codina Realty Services-ONCOR represented the owner, Swerdlow Real Estate Group. The 100-acre development tract is planned for two million sf. Other LightSpeed Centers are planned for Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale and at Interstate 95 and Cypress Creek Road in Broward County.
