It’s time to find out the bottom line, says AllianceHTexas, which has hired Insight Research to analyze the economic impact that it has had on the metroplex.

A report, including a projected future impact, will be finished by month’s end. AllianceHTexas includes the developments of Alliance, Circle T Ranch and Heritage, totaling 15,000 acres in 65 square miles. It encompasses Ft. Worth, Haslet, Roanoke and Westlake situated in Denton and Tarrant counties and two public school districts.

“In the past we’ve talked about the number of jobs created, the amount of property taxes paid and the amount of private investment, but we’ve never done a full economic impact study that includes incomes from the employees and sales taxes from the businesses at Alliance, as well as the indirect benefit from the salaries and taxes,” explains Mike Berry, president of Hillwood Properties, the development overseer for AllianceHTexas.

Insight Research will be evaluating the 9,600-acre Alliance project, 2,500-acre Circle T Ranch and 2,500-acre community of Heritage. Alliance consists of 94 companies that have built more than 15 million sf, creating 17,000 full-time jobs. Circle T Ranch, in its early developmental stages, contains the 332-acre corporate campus for Fidelity Investments and a 400-acre golf community of the Discovery Land Co. Heritage, still in its first phase, is a master-planned community of single-family homes, five school sites that include a public and prive high school campus and a 50-acre city park.

Insight Research has generated economic impact reports for such entities as the FDIC, US Department of Energy, US Department of Housing & Urban Development, Texas Department of Transportation, seven states, two provinces and more than 130 cities, including Fort Worth, New York, Chicago, Boston, Kansas City, Houston and Miami.
