CarrAmerica Hires Dir. of Ops For N. California

CarrAmerica Realty Corporation said Monday that Martin Ward has joined the Company as vice president/director of operations for Northern California.

Ward, most recently regional vice president for Wilson Cornerstone Properties, will be based in CarrAmerica’s Pleasanton office. He will oversee all property operations in CarrAmerica’s largest West Coast market including third-party property and facilities management services.

CarrAmerica owns, develops and operates office properties in 14 markets throughout the United States. CarrAmerica’s San Francisco Bay Area office/R&D portfolio includes 72 buildings containing approximately 5.1 million square feet and 110,000 square feet under construction.

While at Wilson Cornerstone, Ward oversaw that company’s 6.1 million square foot San Francisco Bay Area portfolio. Prior to that, Ward served as senior property manager for the Galbreath Company in San Jose, overseeing 1.9 million square feet of office and industrial space.
