Dennis Gershenson, president and CEO of Ramco-Gershenson, notesthat currently the company has seven redevelopment projects underway at an estimated cost of $14.3 million. Projects commencinginthe second quarter include:
Conyers Crossing, Conyers, GA. A lease has been signed for a55,000-sf Hobby Lobby craft superstore. Hobby Lobby will occupy thespace vacated by Upton's department store and will join Kmart as ananchor at the center. A facade renovation of the center is alsoplanned.
Sunshine Plaza, Tamarac, FL. Ramco-Gershenson has entered intoan agreement with Publix Supermarket to build a new 51,000-sfstore. Publix's existing 37,000-sf store will be demolishedtoaccommodate the new facility.
