The 97-unit Northbrook Lofts on F Street between Sixth andSeventh streetswould likely break ground in November. The CentreCity Development Corp.,which holds sway over Downtown redevelopmentprojects, approved preliminaryplans for the loft project on Friday.The project will also include aground-floor restaurant.

Rents will be about $900 for a studio apartment .The project isthe latestto offer housing in Downtown¹s tight housing market.Among others, DouglasWilson Cos. is planning a 390-unit residentialloft project in the city'sEast Village area in the heart of the newBallpark District.
