That didn’t take long… the first phase of Riverbend at Port Imperial straddling West New York and Weehawken, NJ, totaling 516 rental apartments, has virtually sold out since opening just last February. That has prompted developer Roseland Property Co. of Short Hills, NJ to announce plans for the next two phases, which will add 516 units within the next two years. A block of 86 units will be available as soon as next month.

The complex sits on 200 upland waterfront acres just across the Hudson River from Manhattan. Residents have access to the New York Waterfront Ferry, and Hudson County’s new light rail system will be extended to the site within the next few years. The long-term master plan calls for a build-out of 6,500 residential units, two million sf of mixed-use commercial space and a luxury hotel.
