FCL Builders Undertakes Major Renovation of Self-Storage Facility

Self Storage Inc. has selected FCL Builders Inc. of west suburban Itasca, IL, as the general contractor for a major renovation of its facility at 2001 N. Elston Ave. on ChicagoÕs North Side. Completion is anticipated by February 2001.

The 144,000 sf, five-story plus basement building will undergo a complete interior gut rehab and significant improvements. After completion, the structure will feature new storage lockers, a relocated loading dock, 1,200 sf of office space, as well as a new elevator, HVAC system, electrical service and stairways.
