Equity Office Properties Trust has promoted Peter Adams to thenewly created position of senior vice president of strategicplanning and operations. Adams had formerly served as a senior vicepresident of Equity OfficeÕs pacific region.
Adams will be responsible for developing and implementing thecompanyÕs operating strategy and will provide direction to EquityOfficeÕs national portfolio and property management teams. He willfocus on Equity OfficeÕs portfolio west of Chicago, the firmÕsheadquarters, in addition to providing day-to-day administrativeoversight of the portfolio and property management groups.
Adams has more than 22 years of commercial real estateexperience. Prior to joining Equity in 1994, he was an independentbroker and consultant for such clients as Sony and Mall ofAmerica.
