The property is located southeast of Ben White Boulevard andRiverside Drive. The structure, a franchise of Hilton Hotel Corp.of Beverly Hills, Ca., will be owned and operated by Valencia.
Thomas Keltner, executive vice president of Hilton Hotels andpresident of its franchise hotel group, says the Hampton Inn chainaverages more than 100 hotel openings per year. The brand continuesto aggressively seek expansion opportunities, especially in thewestern half of the US, emphasizes Keltner.
The five-story project at 7712 E. Riverside Dr. tentatively isset to open in first quarter 2001.
