Local Retail Broker is Firm's National Leader

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage has named Chris Kostanecki as the national firm’s top retail sales agent for 1999.

Kostanecki, with the company since 1987, earned the honor by completing 16 transactions valued at approximately $80 million. He claimed the production honor over approximately 135 other agents in 34 offices nationwide.

Based in the Palo Alto company’s San Francisco office, Kostanecki specializes in the sale of national anchored shopping centers and single-tenant properties. Since his arrival, Kostanecki has completed more than 80 sales with a total value exceeding $400 million.

The firm’s retail group as a whole has closed more than $10 billion in sales, with individual transactions ranging from $500,000 to $155 million.
