Guardian Realty has bought a Tysons Corner office building from Faison Capital Advisors. The Gaithersburg-based developer acquired 8619 Westwood Center Dr., a 97,000-sf building, for $18.7 million, or $192 per sf, a price in line with other office acquisitions in the area.

Guardian plans to buy more. In January, it said it would spend $100 million on small and mid-sized office buildings through the first quarter of next year. The company already has a second, unidentified building in Fairfax under contract.
