Insignia/ESG reports that the Alaska State Pension Fund, the new owner of the Gateway office building at One North Lexington Ave., has retained the firm as the leasing agent for the property and added property management to its responsibilities at the 530,000-sf, 19-story tower here. The Alaska State Pension Fund reportedly paid $76.3 million to CIGNA for the building, which is 98% leased.

Insignia/ESG has been the agent at Gateway since 1998 and has secured a host of leases that have brought the building to near full occupancy.

The brokerage firm also reports that the Alaska State Pension Fund has awarded Insignia/ESG the leasing and management of Town Center I, a 420,000 sf office building in East Brunswick, NJ.
